The Santa Clara City Library is seeking passionate and dedicated librarians for three exciting professional opportunities:
- Young adult librarian (Librarian I)
- Mission Branch librarian (Librarian I)
- Genealogy and local history librarian (Librarian II, part-time)
The young adult librarian will perform the day- to-day operations of designing and coordinating initiatives and programs for teens. The Mission Branch librarian will plan and deliver a broad range of programs and services for children, adults and seniors in one of the City’s most historic neighborhoods. The part-time genealogy and local history librarian should be an experienced library professional interested in curating and preserving the Library’s genealogical and local history collections. In this role, the incumbent will help drive programs and services to build meaningful community partnerships, implement innovative and timely programs that appeal to diverse audiences and help the Library develop a history collection that is inclusive and reflective of the City’s diverse community. As a vital member of the Adult Services team, this position will also perform a full range of reference and information services both in person and via telephone using a full range of print, online, and electronic resources.
