Senior Librarian – Mountain View Public Library

The City of Mountain View is looking for TWO emotionally intelligent, congenial, forward-thinking, and highly motivated professionals to take on the role of SENIOR LIBRARIAN. You will join a dynamic team environment, providing specialized and professional services within the Library Services Department. This position receives direction from a Library Services Manager and exercises direct and/or indirect technical and functional supervision over various staff and volunteers.

 

Adult and Digital Services

This position will oversee the goals and day-to-day operations of a service or initiative through the division (communications, digital services, homebound, programming, collections) and provide supervision over safety staff to ensure the public’s compliance with the Library Behavior Policy.

 

Youth & Outreach Services

This position will oversee the goals and day-to-day operations of a service or initiative through the division (bookmobile, educational outreach, programming, collections, and literacy).
