The Burlingame Public Library is currently recruiting for a 30 Hour/Week Librarian position in the Adult Services Department. The Adult Services Department provides reference services, selects materials for the Library’s collection, and plans and facilitates adult programming (among other things). We are seeking an enthusiastic librarian who is passionate about customer service and works well in a team environment.

SALARY AND HOURS

Librarian I: $35.5524 – $42.9330 per hour.

Librarian II: $39.1404 – $47.5305 per hour.

This is a part-time, benefited 30 hours per week position (0.75 full-time equivalent) working every other weekend, from 1:00PM – 5:00PM on Saturday and Sunday.  There is some flexibility in the weekday hours, but an evening/closing shift on a fixed day is required each week.  Benefits are prorated at 75% of a full-time position.
