Full-Time Library Assistant Manager – Alameda County
Under general supervision, assists in planning, directing, coordinating, and supervising the work of a Library or a Library Service within the County Library; trains, supervises and evaluates staff assigned to work within a library operation and provides administrative supervision to all staff in the absence of a higher-level manager; assists in the development and implementation of Library policies, procedures, and service delivery programs; and performs related duties as required.
Library Assistant Managers require detailed working knowledge of a public library and are responsible for directing support staff and functions, circulation and customer service operations, facility maintenance, technology equipment and systems, shelf maintenance, collection maintenance, and volunteers.
