Self-Care Workshop

ABOUT EVENT

Public library staff from PLP are invited to participate in a two-and-a-half-hour Self-Care and Collaboration workshop via Zoom on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, from 9:30 am to 12 noon. It’s best if you have access to a device with a microphone and camera (computers often work well because they have larger screens and you can see other participants easily).

Workshop Description:

The amount of change and loss in 2020 is overwhelming, and we need fresh tools for working well under the strain.  This highly interactive 2.5  hour Zoom workshop is designed to facilitate connection and awareness, and to equip teams for working well together even from remote locations. Two topics are unpacked in this engaging workshop; Self-Care that is do-able and supported in the workplace, and Self-Awareness of 4 universal pain responses to high stress situations. Engagement with these two topics increase personal ownership of health and mindset for healthy work culture.

Registration is limited. Questions? Please contact beverly.schwartzberg@library.ca.gov.
