Library Privacy and Vendor Management II: Exploring Practical Strategies and Best Practices
In the second part of the Library Privacy and Vendor Management webinar series, we will explore in depth several of the strategies and best practices introduced in the first webinar. Participants will review and discuss real world contracts, request for proposal documents, and vendor audits for their effectiveness in protecting patron privacy. The interactive webinar will examine contract negotiation strategies in multiple stages of the vendor relationship lifecycle, including initial and renewal negotiations. Participants will also have the opportunity to review and discuss additional best practices and strategies to protect patron privacy while working with vendors and other third parties.
