ABOUT EVENT
The scholarly literature is a vast treasure trove of high-quality, peer-reviewed, (mostly) trust-worthy content. In this hands-on class, we’ll learn the ins and out of using Google Scholar to access this wealth of content. You’ll learn how to find preprints, discover reputable scholars and institutions, and how to do precise, effective research using online scholarly sources. Notes will be provided as a Google Doc at the start of class. You’ll also learn how to use the advanced search functions of Google Patent search to search for patents… and for Scholar content! Connect to the online class to learn all the insider details.
