Santa Clara County Library District, in the heart of Silicon Valley, are hiring for Community Librarian, a critical management role in our Library Journal 4-Star library. The position will oversee service for an entire community and library location (up to a 60,000 square feet building), including facility management, space planning, budgeting, management of supervising staff, and support stakeholder development.

At SCCLD we have a $60.9 million dollar annual budget with 15% of that intentionally invested in our collection, so you’ll have the needed material to delight the community. With over 10M in annual circulation and 3.4 in visitation, our staff and public are incredibly passionate about their library. We have facility management staff and a strong CIP to keep each building fresh and inviting, as well as marketing executive expertise to tell the story of our collective success!

Salary range: $110,466.72 – $134,276.48 with application closing 12/18/2019.
